When you guys go out and test and dial your suspension, how do you go about it.

Do you start with all adjusters in the middle?

So you start with compression all the way hard and back off?

Do you start soft?

Im just trying to get an Idea of how to test and tune.

Never max out the adjusters in either direction, it can cause the fluid not to flow in the shock and may cause damage.

I usually start at the middle myself.

set your sag (spring tension)
i like to start with the compression at the middle
the rebound i like to be closer to the slow end
also think about your adjustments for a bit after your ride
but remember this when you make an adjustment on either end there will be an opposite reaction on the other end

Thanks for the advice guys. I have been paying more attention at my shocks when I go riding. Im trying to dial them in and Im just gonna have to experiment one adjustment at a time.

as soft as you can stand it is the rule of thumb I go by.
