How would these compare against each other in a drag or trail riding ?...and what would need to be done to beat the kfx in drag race ? thanks

yeah do a search, but most people are to lazy to do that so, kfx higher top speed, weak frame (so i have heard), 400ex- better handling, very reliable that's all i can think of right now

the kfx is king of all quads its wider, lower and faster than the z 400 and comes stock with a lsr axle, its also a 450 yoshi motor actually its withou a doubt the best quad for the buck way better than a z too

hahaha! thats a good one! isnt the z400 junk? thats what i heard.. & i'd never buy a kawasaki.. or suzuki.. JUST HONDA! ....maybe yamaha.. of the rite one came along..

The KFX is a nice bike in my opinion same thing as the Z. It has reverse and more bottom end then the 400ex. Dont ask questions about these fourwheelers on this site people will just bash the fourwheeler that isnt honda.

are we talkin about the 400 or 700? If we ae talking 700 there isnt much to make the 400ex keep up with it, but its handling might be almost as good. If we are talking 400, drag race maybe a quad lenght if the riders are at the same skill level, in the woods it prolly wont make much of a diff, until you start modding them, then the kfx will start to be better. For the kfx400 vs 400ex, when buying used like i have to do, there isnt a big enough diff to spend the extra money.

i have a little bit of aftermarket stuff on mine (not much in performance), and i drag raced a buddy of mine and his KFX about 6-8 times on pavement with one of my buddies flagging for equal starts, and with 15/36 and 18's on mine, i could beat him to top speed (by about 5-6 lengthes) then he would pull ahead of me on long stretches (1/4 mile maybe),,,it was alot of fun racing, but next time i'll have my 20's on!!!!!heheheh

stock to stock i beat a 400ex about5 quad legnths
