View Full Version : Trx motor to Crf motor?

Does anyone know if and 05-08 Honda Crf450f motor will mount up into an 06-13 Honda Trx450? If not is it possible?

Similar ones like that have been done. You have to make new motor mounts for sure.

Just put a 08 crf head on your trx lower end

08 Crf head will work. You have to mod the top end spacers to fit. And the intake is a little diff. Will work with some modding!

Yes you will have to make new motor mounts but its 100% possible. This is an 05 frome. Mount locations are hte same on the 06+ but mount widths are different. If you jump into it all answer any questions you may have Cant help ya with machining due to my machine shop being swamped until mid april at least he said but i can help answer any questions..
