I would like to buy a bolt on light flywheel. Where can I get one?

I'm 99.9% sure that nobody sells lightened flywheels for a 400ex. They just wouldn't sell enough of them to make any profit. I know there are companys that will lighten one that you provide, I can't remember who though. There was a couple threads on this awhile back. Use the search function and find out what they did.

I've seen plenty on ebay.....haven't seen any recently but haven't looked for them either, but I would look there first.

anyone lighten it up a bit for XC racing? i would assume you would not take off as much as for say, TT, but how much to take off for XC?

I don't know anyone that has, you get more tire spin an more stalling in the tight stuff, not saying you couldn't, but only guys I know that were doing it were MX .

i see your point on the stalling part, but i will get more tire spin with engine mods as well, such as 12.5:1 piston, P&P etc. i think i will call duncan and see what they recommend. i may try it and if i dont like it, just find a stock flywheel on flee bay. thanks.
