06 er hiccup and backfire

Just bought an 06 er has a k&n filter and motoworks pipe.. Has a hesitation when I hit the gas to fast and backfires when I'm decelerating any suggestions would be great thanks

Larger pilot. Try upping the pilot one size first.

Need to change the leak jet to a 55 to start. Research this, all kinds of info out there on the snap bog with the fcr carbs

start by cleaning the carb.

I cleaned the carb and changed the main jet to a 175 and the pilot to a 48 and removed the air box lid and it took 95% of the hicup out now it's just barely a hesitation I'm going to try to raise. The needle next and the leak jet if the needle doesn't get it

there are some minor changes that occur when installing an HRC kit that often go overlooked when installing just a cam, exhaust, and open air box.

I've often wondered if this is why some seem to run spot on and others are left chasing down that last little issue.
