ive seen heim joint reducers/inserts online for cheap but only in standard size. for example: 1/2 inch heim joint hole reduced with a spacer to use a 3/8 bolt. I have a 7/16 heim and need to reduce it to 10mm. I know this will be a very thin spacer but does anyone know where i can buy one? i couldnt find any metric heim reducers online. id rather not go to a machine shop they are expensive around here. any ideas?

i have used a dowel out of an engine case before, cut it to the length you want and then split it, use a bench vise to push everything together, put the cap and screw on the end and away you go, i have run all year like that doing mx and nothing has come loose or anything like that.
