advantages to a hump seat?

What are some advantages to having a hump seat? Does anyone have or make one for an ex? Post pictures if you have one. Thanks

It's just to help your *** from sliding too far back on the seat in a race, and to help you concentrate more on racing then holding on when you hit the gas and start sliding backwards. I guess it would help reduce arm pump and save energy since you wouldn't be trying to grip the bars as hard to hold on also.

It makes a huge difference in muddy XC races, when you are sliding off the back climbing hills.

Who makes them for the 400ex?

No one that I know of. I had one on my 450. But it would be fairly easy for an upholstery shop to make one.
