Has anyone ever tried running the wiring harness through the frame? Is it even possible since it's so thick? I thought about trying it since I haven't had a wiring issue since forever ago, but I'd have to run it wire by wire and drill lots of little holes and grommet them and everything else and it seems like a big PITA, but I'm just wondering if anyone ever tried it. This seems like a good a thread as any to throw this out there.

That would be really cool, the only problem is the tubing is just trimmed to fit its not fisheye cut to make all the joints hollow.

Once you take the harness apart the wires arent as bulky as they look, they are actually crudely put together under the wire harness cover.

My custom exhaust in the other thread is built from scratch other than the muffler was a slip on KFX450R piece that I cut most of the lead pipe off of.

I've also modified the rear subframe of my 400's creating a jog to clear the sprocket bolts when it's lowered.

I've also built a headlight delete out of carbon fiber as seen in this slightly older photo.

Can you post a pic of the "jog" in the frame rail you made? I just stuck my sub-frame in a press and bent it to clear the sprocket bolts for the GT Thunder link, haven't had any issues with it yet but it would be cool to see how you went about dealing with it.

i built my own +2+1 a arms for stock travel shocks, i didnt have the money to spend on a good set as im still in high school, so i made these fully adjustable ones. also i built a custom aluminum plate to replace the one that comes stock on the front left fender, and i did some aluminum etching on it.

Im on it

Im making a custom seat, custom diamond plate to mount the custom mini tank.

The whole oil tank system is gone, gonna be two lines to a light weight oil cooler and thats it.

The motor going in this chassis only weighs 50lbs, this bike is gonna be in the mid to high 100s in weight and have 45+ HP stock

Thanks......its like a built EX on steroids. I read about a guy with the same motor had parts of the engine go through a deep freeze process to hardened the parts an did a 560 stroker an port an got 76 hp.....that would be insane.
