View Full Version : 06+ radiator in an 05 frame??

Just like the title says. Do you guys know if the newer radiator will work in an 05 frame? The 06+ is a little larger.

is the 06 any better built than the 04-05 and will the 04-05 fan bolt on? The 04-05 is built like a tin can.

Only diff is fans are at a different angle for improved cooling. Fan bolts right on.onions

was up and down on buying a oversized rad on ebay as I removed my fans on all 3 of my race bikes. I searched to see who has best feedback and found a guy that I thought was ok. Well I ordered two of them and wow just like the pwrs. Installed one in the 05 I run and had no problems the welds look very good rad was great only thing was on the rad cap I had to grind off part of the one tab cause it was near the frame but very very happy with the seller fast shipping cheap and had no problems dont know if you can post names of sellers on site but send pm if you want info. By the way it was under $100 shipped cant go wrong

IM pretty sure I have the same radiator cause I also had to grind an ear off of my cap. Im happy with mine

It will bolt in, but u can save alot of cash and git the 04-05 one. 06+ is like $535 and the 04-05 is $200
