Has anyone tried this? I have seen a stock swinger and link from a trx used on a 250 but not any aftermarket ones.
I have been searching for a laeger or walsh but I ran across a very clean lsr stock link frame. I might try to find a jb or walsh swing arm and link to see how it works, or just a stock replacment swinger and use the trx link if it is any better than the 250r link.

None of the aftermarket companies ever tried to really develop a replacement linkage for the stock style link. There has always been the CR500, CRF450 and the no-link frame's, that is the reason you don't see any replacement linkages for the 250r.

There is nothing really wrong with the stock style linkage on a 250r, I actually think the 450r linkage is worse than the 250r linkage.

Maybe one day someone will design a new replacement linkage for a 250R, something like a GT thunder link or a long travel link would be nice.

Gt thunder has put a stock 450r swing arm on a 250r and then built a custom link that uses a 450r rear shock and swing arm.

They are also building a-arms to use the stock 450r front shocks and 04/05 spindles and hubs.

^^^This

I am running an LSR frame with stock 88-89 linkage and an LSR 88-89 style swinger. Works and fits good

I have been wondering the same thing. I have a couple good rear 450R setups and dont have the time to try some of them out.
If you do try one please give a report.

that sounds good. I have a 04/05 Baldwin link I have been holding on to to try on a JP frame.

Are you going to try it on a 250r swing arm or use a 450r swing arm?

Going to try it with the 450r swinger.
