Ok, I have a PRP 250r hybrid chassis that is set up for a YZ450 engine. I can get a yz426 complete bike for way cheaper than a yz450.
Would it be worth it to mess around with the engine mounts to fit the yz426 engine in it or should I just go find a yz450 engine ??

Yz450 is a beast motor
I have a Walsh yz450 hybrid. 4 speed motor but damn its peppy.
I say spend the extra And get the 450 motor. Quite a few in Ebay that's been there awhile.
I'm sure you could Backdoor at a much nicer price

The 450 will flat smoke the 426, no comparison. Had a few of them. Its like going from a 400ex to a 450r.

I have found a clean 2006 yz450 engine that just needs a new piston and rings for $550 and it's local no shipping involved.
