Oil screen

Hey guys I just installed the um oversized oiltank with cooling holes it's nice but when I took the stock oil tank off it had a oil screen looking thing I had to take that off the connection to hook up the UM oil tank will this affect my motor?

Dont think so, there is a second screen in the bottom of the case also.

Should be ok.
