440 build ?????????

I'm looking in to a 440 build im just curios of what i need to build it, this is what im thinking so far.
fst oil cooler or similar one
wiseco 440 sleeve
wiseco 440 11:1 piston or higher i still want to run pump gas like 93
gtt hd studs
hd cam chain
hc stage 2
xr400 gasket kit
maybe a spal fan but not sure yet, any suggestions or advise

You have it rite so far. You can use a crf450 chain( cheaper then the HD chain and is the same thing) 11-1 will be fine on 93 much more you might want to run a mix to be on the safe side.. I would also go with a oversize oil cooler before the fan and all that, the fan is not a must, but what do I know, LOL

would a stroker crank make it less reliable, right now i have a hc stage 2 and a 426 with 10:1 comp, hd cam chain i just want more out of it

INstead of doing a 440 bore, you could do a 416 bore with the stroker crank to make it a 440.

They say those are a little fast on acceleration. Idk though.

Been there, done it all but the stroker. Save your money, that 426 is good to go, you could hone the sleeve an put a 11:1 piston in it. I talked to a few builders, the stroker cost money an for the bang you get maybe 2 mores horses. I would put the money into a port job, a bigger carb. I think GT makes a good stroker am Powroll..?...makes a stroker out of your crank to run any piston....your money....I blew mine on a KTM motor an stuck it in the 400EX frame
