Joel Hetrick back on Honda

Word on the street is Hetrick will be back on a Honda for 2013. What is the deal with can-am? Are they cutting back support or dropping their team altogether?

They may be only able to support one rider now and since Natalie already has a championship, they are keeping him. That would be my guess.

Natalie and Hetrick were on Team MOTOWORKs can-am, not factory can-am like previous seasons. I believe its Team MOTOWORKS that's switching the guys to Honda. I dont think Motoworks has any reason to have loyalty to can-am, although everyone associates the two.

I think it has to do with cost and supply. If the factories dont get involved again within the next couple years the gates will go back to being just what they were in the late 90's early 2000s. Full of hondas due to cost. Weather the production rule stays in effect or not parts are half the price for a honda...I personally hope the factorys step back into it but this is just what i forsee from todays outlook

i wish it would go back to the 90s and early 2000s when the 250r the 400ex and the hybrid ruled not the new 450s

someone close with the motoworks team confirmed that Natalie and Hetrick on Hondas, and the only one left with a ride for them is Fredericks for the WORCS series.

Hetrick confirmed on his Facebook that he is on a honda. I haven't seen anything from Natalie though.
