whats up guys im new to this site and was wondering if anybody can give me some insight.

I am thinking about trading my 02 trx400ex for a 91 rm 125.

my ex has given me problems hard starting i believe its due to the edelbrock carb not being tuned in correctly (impossible to tune!).

Anyway i was wondering if the rm125's from 91 had any problems i should know about before executing the trade.

any info is greatly appreciated.

LMAO 91 Rm is worth about 400 bucks. If you want to trade for a dirt bike I can find you a better deal then that. I would def not make that trade. Worst case go to the home depot, get a few 2x4's some good exterior ply would, good hinges, make a little shed/ box big enough to stash the quad in. Worse case you will be out 100-150 on material.

Id say building a small box or something for the quads a better idea. A 91rm is BEAT man, its worth about 300-500 bucks at best. I wouldnt trade.

I bought a 98 cr250 for $500 and a 2001 cr80 for another $500.

Both are in perfect shape other then plastic, frame paint and one bent front brake lever.

Trust me, youll like the rm125 but will wish you still had the EX a week later.

If anything just save $500 and watch craigslist religously for a deal like I found and have both.

That's what I did :D

^ Agreed. You could save 500-100 bucks and have a very nice bike if you want too.

For whatever reason the bikes dont hold value at all these days. Trolling craigslist I find very nice bikes all the time for less than 1200 bucks easy.

the 4 wheeler should fit in the shed if you stand it on it grab bar and slide it in. will be sorta difficult but not as difficult as getting over the terrible trade if you did it.
