So I've seen it done on some air cooled motors, but could u take a 400ex jug, mill off all the fins except too and bottom take sheet allinium and weld all the way around with a fill and drain fitting, add a 250r rad and a small inline pump. Any one wanna try? Or have any ideas

sure it could be done if you got the tools and materials to do it, and also the time and know-how.

Or you could just get a 450r.......not trying to shoot down the idea, just sayin that it probably wouldnt be worth the effort and hard work for the benefits.

FST did this an sold as a kit, not many if any sold though. It was around 2500.00 for everything.

you could wrap the fins with small cooper tubing and use a small 12v fuel pump to run ice water through the tubing.

But that would look ghetto...lol.
