so i bought this axle of eBay and just came in today. i pulled it out the box and noticed that there's no way to put on the hubs from my stock axle, the axle was to fat and even if it wasn't too fat, it doesn't have a tread. I need help.

how do i get my stock hub on this?

That's a Durablue X-33 axle. You have to have the hubs that come with it to make it work, nothing else will fit. You can buy just the hubs from Durablue but they are pretty expensive, especially the billet hubs that are the good ones.

X2 on what Stickman said ^^^

It's a Durablue X-33 axle which uses special quick change "pin drive" hubs instead of splines. The hubs are held to the axle with a big allen bolt with a nut on the end. The hub pinches down on the axle when you tighten the bolt.

Get the billet hubs and not the cast aluminum ones if you can. They will not be cheap but it will make for a solid axle setup.

You can see the allen bolt on the left hub in this pic

Based on the part numbers on Durablue's website, you need the hubs with the part # 20-1033 (cast hubs) or 20-1033b (billet hubs).

They will fit the X-33 axle for these machines:

- Arctic Cat-DVX 400 '04-08
- Honda-trx250r '85
- Honda-trx250r '86-89
- Honda-trx400ex '99-08/trx400x '09-13
- Honda-trx450r '04-12
- Kawasaki-kfx400 '03-06
- Kawasaki-kfx450 '08-12
- Suzuki-Z400 '03-08
- Suzuki-lt-z400 '09-12
- Suzuki-lt-r450 '06-11

Does the axle already have a sprocket hub on it? If it does then all your stock parts should work except for said hubs. If it doesn't then you will need to get a Durablue sprocket hub because they have special splines on the axle.

Nothing durablue is cheap, lol. The billet hubs go for as much as 250 and the cast ones are about 180-200.. The durable sprocket hub is the only hub that fits that axle, so your kinda locked into that hub. The brake side stuff should fit from a stock bike.

Depending on how used it is, could have issues with it being sloppy on another axle. If it has little time on it then that would be diff.

Nacsmxer, I love seeing pics of your EX! That thing looks so dang good, I just don't get tired of looking at it. Feel free to post more pictures.

OP-why don't you post a pic of your whole axle so we can see what you have got there. Does the X-33 really come without the sprocket hub? Don't axles usually come with a sprocket hub and then you use your stock brake hub and a locknut of choice?

I think he bought it used, so the PO prolly took it all off.

If interested shoot me a text at 704-651-7622 with your offer and i can send you some pics if you like.
