Hi i just got a 2005 450r after moving up from my 400ex in ice racing im looking at what options to got with on the build im looking at a
13.8:1 Je 3 ring piston
rossier full exhaust
hot rod crank sience its an 05
stock bore and head

but idont know what cam to run ive been looking at a s2 or s3 hot cam or a web cam i dont know what my best option would be. the way the ice racing is its just a big oval usually 1/4 to 1/2 mile i want something thatll give me good top end but i dont wanna lose to much on the bottom so i have the torque for the starts and the studs take some power to turn i just thought id ask what you guys thought? or if you have any other ideas that be great too thanks

Look at a Web cam. You'll need a heavy duty valve spring kit though.

I think they say to use their 208/921 for TT etc. It's a mid-top end cam.

i would most deffinatly get headwork. but then again its not my motor, if its an 05 you might need a valve job anyway, get +1 exhaust valves and ported while your in there.

the reason i say that is the 13.8 piston with a cam will like a better flowing head than the stock head flow.
