motoplant iginition

I have recently recieved a motoplant ignition from my grandfather who gave me all of his mini sprint equipment. I got the car i sold and i still have a esr bolt on hybrid motor and a ftz hybrid. The ftz hybrid has a motoplat ignition. I have no clue about these ignitions. I have asked around and no one knows about these engines. Does anyone know anything about these? Are they junk are they any good? Can someone help me out please.

I just wanted to know if it was good or not. If it was better then stock I was going to use it since I don't have the money for a cr and I have this one laying around.
