So my new project came with a PVL ignition and was told it was most likely the reasoning behind the kick back I was getting. I'm in the mists of breaking the Bike down for a rebuild and plan on sticking with the stock top end (for now).
Without asking I'm going to assume that this set up is over kill for stock top end?
1. Anyway to "tune out" the kick back w/ timing or will it always have some?
2. I got the stator cover off, looks like I need a special tool to be able to take this thing off (chains off, can't just simply put it in gear). Anyone know this tool, where to get it?
3. If the answer to qs. 1. is no, anyone interested in trading up a stock ignition or CR one? :blah:
