Im looking into buying some 250r stuff from a guy. He is saying this is a Laeger narrow 250r frame but as far as I can tell its not. He said they had a dirtbike motor welded into it somehow. Any idea what it even is? Looks pretty hacked even if it is a Laeger.

The a-arm mounts look like one of Bud Fischer's designs. Where did you locate this? Northeast Ohio or western Pa?

Looks a lot like a yamaha frame to me? Could be a Fischer though by looking at the a arm mounts but the stem area reminds me of yamaha. Either way looks like junk to me. No offense! I just think you'd b better off finding a good cheap used stk R frame then that thing!!

Turn and run. If that's a narrow Laeger 250r frame, I'm the effin president. You're not dealing with an honest person

That frame is only worth what the local scrap yard would give you for it.
Too much hacking went on there

Look how wide the front frame rails are. No way thats a narrow front. That stock width or wider.

This is what a Laeger Narrow front looks like.....
If the guys doesn't know what it is.....how are ya supposed to know what to attach to it ? A-arms & Swinger & Steering stem...etc.etc
Might be more headache than what it's worth....

A Fischer was a narrow chassis set up with standard width rails. It was all about the postioning of the a-arm mounts, not the width of the rails.

mpblaster287 said the guy said it's a laeger narrow 250r frame. Anybody who says that's a laeger narrow 250r frame raise their hand. Now let's all get our sawzalls out and cut our frames to sh**. sorry

Thanks guys. I knew it wasn't a laeger frame just curious to see what it might have been. I know there were a lot of people making frames back in the day. I am definitely going to stay away from this one tho. Again thanks for all the replies.

I'm sorry for being a pill but anyone who would try to sell that "frame" as a laeger should be dragged behind a horse.:grr: or an R
