DRR help IDing a year

I am hoping that someone on here can help me ID what year my sons drr is. I was told an 06 by the person i got it from

Ya it looks like 02 to 07 single arm air cooled mini.. I might be wrong but all the parts are the same...

Read the vin on the front of the frame. The 10th digit will tell you the year. if its an 06 the 10th digit will be a 6.
