I recently did an 08 gas tank conversion on an 06 Trx450. The 06 gas cap will not work on the 08 tank because its to big and everywhere I look they say that the 05-13 caps are all the same.

thats wierd. Im pretty sure i used my stock 05' gas cap on the 08' tank when i converted.

04-07 fuel cap fit on 08+ fuel tank!

Do you have a aftermarket fuel cap?

Yes it is and aftermarket cap but I still dont think it would matter.

I have a 2007 oem cap on my 2008 gas tank and it fit very well!

Buy the tank new or used? Aftermarket tank possibly?? as far as i know all the honda sport quad caps are the same With the exception of the 300EXs with metal tanks. Even my CRF cap was the same as my 450R
