Just got my 440 done Atv shop sent me a video of it running sounds good at idle and when revved up and he said it hauls but!! I have a 52 pilot and 185 main in the carb it's the 05 450r carb he said he put a new spark plug in it for me to check the color to see if I'm running to lean or rich but he say he think it's good where it's at right now what u guys think?

Sounds about right...just gotta run it an see how it performs an check the plug, the color well tell you. I have a 04' 450R carb on ktm 520 motor in my 400EX frame an its jetted with 52/210 open airbox K&N......so you are probably running close where it should be for a 400 motor.....what, you don't trust your builder...? Have a little faith.....lol.

Yep that sounds rite. Still check the plug after a hard rite with minimal idling. I am running very similar jetting.

Thanks man. I did a lot of home work before I picked up the HMF. It was between that, the sparks, a LRD. From seeing my friends that had the sparks pipe, I felt the quality, of the system was not there like the HMF, Not to mention i like the looks of the muffler, end cap morso of the HMF. Alot of their pipes were falling apart after only a few years of riding. So the longevity, cheaper price aspect won me over the TINY hp increase that the sparks has. Bar none they all are great pipes, comes down to preff.
