Scar on crankshaft rod

I'm trying to decide if I should get a new crankshaft looked like the last guy that had my bike had honed the inside of the connecting rod Atv mechanic said its not bad but he said if that were my bike I would put it back together until it siezes up any suggestions

So long as it doesnt have excessive play Id ride it.

The down fall to it is if the rod come's apart and at what rpms...

If that rod brakes or come's apart you will lose your cly, pistion, maybe the transmission and valves.

I had one come snap and lost the hole motor. If you buy a new crank and dont wont to spnd a lot of money get a stock stroke hot rod crank, they hold up good trust me.

I am making over 70 hp on that crank and i have 2 of them in a 440 ex and 426 ex with a lil help from nos. So they will hold any thing you mite do with it.
