Just curious who is running one. I am kinda leary about the pinned hubs, I like the idea of splines over a pin. Mine should be here this week, I still feel it is a stronger axle them my current G force.

I have run one since 2002. I have beat on it pretty good with hard landings riding MX over the years. I cracked a stock swingarm in two while running it.

It is a very stout axle, the pin drive hub design is quite unique and very reliable. The axle is beastly in person. You don't have to worry about castle nuts loosening on their own or splines wearing out like with stock hubs.

The hubs can be a MAJOR weak point, you have to make sure you get the good ones with the X-33. Mine, my friend's with a 250R, and another friend's with a Raptor all came with crappy cast aluminum "fiber reinforced" hubs from Durablue. They absolutely suck. The holes for the bolts that hold them to the axle wallow out very quickly to the point that your tires wobble around loose on the axle when completely tight. It got so bad that my buddy with the Raptor lost a wheel with the hub still attached to it at the track. My other buddy with a 250R clipped a tree with his tire at low speed and shattered part of his cast hub.

The fix for that problem was to get the upgraded billet aluminum hubs for the X-33 from Durablue. Ever since I replaced them, the hubs have stayed completely tight and I haven't had a single problem.

Well that is some good news. I am not sure if this one has the billets or not. I think it might but not 100%. I have just read some horror stories on chit breaking and all with the cast ones. BTW you have one of my fave ex's on here. Thing is beautiful :D My next upgrade is gona be a set of IMS or Bling star fat pegs.

Haha, thanks guys :p

I don't have experience with the Blingstar pegs but I HIGHLY recommend the IMS/Roll pegs with the kick ups. They're like standing on big bricks compared to the stock skinny things. Much more comfortable and forgiving on hard landings. They're also very sharp and don't wear out. Quality stuff.

Well the axle arrived, I must say I do not feel I will have any issues with it. It is freaking mammoth, heavy duty, flat out impressive looking. I never had issues with the stock axle, this is with out a doubt stronger.

Nice man, I told you it was beastly in person haha

What hubs did it come with?

Unfortunately it has the cast hubs, not the billets. I have some grade 8 shoulder bolts that I am going to replace the ones with, just ride. I do not hit crazy jumps, so I feel I will be just fine.

I gotcha. I would still keep an eye on those hubs though. Wiggle the back tires on the axle from time to time to feel for any slop beginning to develop.

Get some pics of the axle once you install it! :macho

Thumpin,

Didnt you just get a LSR axle?

Will do man. I usually go over the bike every other ride, just to check for stuff like that. Kinda like pilots do before they take off, hahah the pre flight check.

ATVKID

No I just put LSR a arms on the bike.

I had a rear axle that I thought was a LSR, but then the durablue hub fit it so I thought it was a Dblue.. Contacted them, they told me it def wasn't, it was a G force. G force used there spline pattern for the sprocket hubs. So I went and picked up this X33

Hope that made sense, LOL
