shave flywheel??

Anyone ever shaved the flywheel on a 300ex and if so how much have you successfully been able to take off? thanks

By nature the 300ex is a strong bottom end and falls off on top shaving the fly wheel will decrease bottom and not help the topend much. So unless you are wanting to spend alot on a full rebuild to increase the topend and over rev it would not be worth the time and effort .
