Refilling Coolant

Hey guys when i tore my bike down i lost all the coolant from the radiator. The coolant in the overflow bottle stayed in there and it is clean so i am going to leave it. When i fill the radiator with Honda Coolant is there any procedure? Or do i just fill it to the cap and start it, let it warm up, cool down and check level? How much will the radiator hold?

it holds around 1 1/2 qts. Just fill it and go. Then recheck your level to see if it needs topped off. Pretty simple though, there's no burping required or anything like that.

Per the service manual: fill and let idle with the cap off for 2-3 mins. Blurp the throttle a few times in that few mins. Shut down and top off if needed.
