almost was going to buy some riding pants and jersey but it was like $150.... didn't want to order something that could turn out to be the wrong size, or something i didn't like. I figure i may need a roost deflector and a neck brace or whatever those things are, but i just ain't never heard no one emphasizing the need for that stuff :ermm:

I have full gear from back in the day but just jeans and boots for me now

I much prefer work boots. yes they arent going to protect you as well as riding boots will, but dang riding boots are uncomfy.

I also wear jeans and just a riding shirt. Seems riding pants are either for riding boots and too short or the over the boot ones fall apart on ya.

A good pair of boots could save your ankle. If I'm play riding I don't wear gear to keep from staining it up but always boots!
