Part numbers are different so I'm going to err on the side of caution and say no.

This is not good :( I have my bike in the shop and the mechanic said find a used clutch basket assembly but they from 99-04 idk what else to do

Is this the clutch basket assembly or just the basket? And if is just the basket what parts do i need to get to make the assembly?

thats just the basket. youd need the clutch plates which you can get pretty decently friced from the dealer or RockyMountain ATV. youd also need the outter pressure plate which youd have to get from the dealer. Why do you need everything? What happened to the bike?

Guy from last minute racing a racing shop in Louisiana told I needed a whole new clutch basket assembly

If the basket is just grooved you can file it slightly and it will be fine.

Im gonna say even though the part numbers are different-I cannot fathom why it would have changed. I have had both an 05 and my 00 apart and they looked the same. Although reverse might be part of the reason its different...IDK.

No the 99 to 04 clutch basket will not work on the 05 and up because the center hole for the shaft is bigger, but the fibers, steels, pressure plate and springs are still the same.
