Ok, I'm not sure what your requirements are at the track you race at. These shocks are stock length and were used at the Nationals for 1 50cc stock limited race.

90cc limited at gncc . Rules say no shock change from stock. But they also dont say you cant run a shifter under 90 limited rules until you look at 90 mod class and it says shifters restricted to this class, so who knows.

You are right you can not run a shifter at this time in the stock class. Also to be legal you should buy a new bike or 90 bike as to rules state the motor must match the cram which means legal if the bike came with 70 cases and you run 90 cases it is not a production bike or stock for that matter. You may get away with it but if protested it could be bad for your season

Very interesting! Where did you find that info. Its not in the rules so its open to whatever they decide. I have found that to be the case before.

The open class states that it And the girls class are the only classes eligible for bikes with manual clutches. The production rule states that the cases must match the frame and a 90 cases are different than 70 cases. This is a tough one to prove but just this thread were u are looking for a 90 motor would be enough to cause suspition. I don't have a child racing this class as we will be running the own class but hate for the litle things to blow up a good season. Also rumor has it they may be running an a b c format with two age groups next year.

You are right but i dont see how it matters when the frames are identical. Ive seen rules not followed. They have let 6 yr olds ride 8-10 class. also it says cant change oil injection which makes no sense. This is really all simple but it never turns out this way. We probably should take this out of classified. We could talk about this a long time.

no one would ever know and there is no way to prove if your bike was a 70 or 90 from the factory. And if someone did protest you for that they would be a major d bag....! that is not a performance advantage.
