I'm rebuilding my motor with a new.crank an 11/1 426 piston stage 3 cdi stage 2 hotcam ported and polished head 3 angle valve job full exhaust. Do you think I should use stiffer valve springs? What ones?

My 1999 EX has a zillian hours, been a 416, 426, 440 an now a 406 all witrh high compression, ported, 3 angle, cdi, web cam.....still using original springs......I would say they are good to go. I have heard using stiffer springs will wear the valves faster....my opinion is the stockers are more than plenty strong enough.

The springs do wear over time. Take yours off and measure them, compare to factory specs.

I replaced mine with some kibble white springs cause they were outta spec.
