I am about to change my piston on my 08 trx . I have never done a piston on a Honda b4 I understand the basics just need to know if #1 I need to know anything special for the Honda that may be different than other bikes #2 the proper Torque for the cam bolts and head bolts. Any help will be appreciated thanks

make sure proper ring gap, proper end gap placement, use oem gaskets for closer tolerance ...40 ft lbs head and 10 ft lbs cam tower,

and while your there check crank for any up and down movement,
it wouldnt hurt to do a squish test, a leak down test and a compression test before start up,

check your cam chain for any kinks or tight spots and also check your cam chain tensioner for proper motion, check the cam chain guides, and also check the valves and springs foe any wear,

check and spec for size cam lobes, rod end, basically every part you touch measure and record, and blueprint all readings for future reference for wear..

mark all shims and buckets for proper replacement...

in other words just the basics nothing really that different from any other 4 stroke
