if you want to do some real fab on the bike you can do the atc350x engine mod . powroll sells a pipe but that ones a little pricey to say the least. u can make own much cheaper and it works just as good if u do it right. i heard yyou can put a crf230 carb on it. but then you will probably have to jet it but u would have to jet it for your pipe anyway. hope this helps..

that depends on what kind of racing your gonna do. If you gonna race MX then I would remove the airbox, install a 400ex carb and you will see a big increase. If you want to get into the motor then I say punch it out to about .080 over and you will be very impressed.

If your gonna race XC then keep the airbox and install a 400ex carb with a UNI airfilter. I would keep the internals as close to stock as you can, don't want to beef it up to much. Your looking for power and reliablity. You also don't want it hard to start.

I'm not a big fan of big bore kits on an air cooled motor. Seems like everyone I've seen doesn't last very long. Also, if you install the 350x you can't run the 0-300 class or school boy.

Your off to a great start on your suspension. trx350X1998 is correct if your gonna race MX, if your gonna stay in the woods then stick with the 400ex a-arms. You could also install a 2001 rapter rear shock. That helps alot.

good luck

I run a 400ex carb on my 250x/350x Hybrid with 152 main and 42 slow.
