Came across a can am 50. 2 stroke. Air cooled. It's getting gas and seems to be getting fuel. Any ideas where to go from there? Reeds are good too. Any info would be great. It's a bone stock bike. Oil injection and everything. Got the bike dirt cheap and wanting to get it running

There all the same... Try everything from fuel, spark, stator, Comp test, cdi, grounds and connections. I have had sevral with all diffrent problems. Most were spark issues so look at coil, stator and boot. Let me know I will help more if needed. Lots of info and pix..

Ok. I've swapped the cdi coil and stator and flywheel off anothe running bike. Didn't have any effect. Shouldn't coil cdi and stator be good if I'm getting good fire off the plug??

Ya if it's nice big blue spark you should fire. In some cases the stator will lose continnuity under a load. But if you have good comp and spark along with fuel then it should fire.. Let me get into my info sheets and send you all specs for gaping and stator testing and other good info..

DO A COMPRESSION TEST IF ITS GETTING FUEL AND FIRE. NOT SURE OF THE SPEC BUT IT DOESNT TAKE MUCH TO AFFECT THESE LITTLE BIKES

our DRR was getting good spark and fuel. Had what felt to be good compression. When I pulled the cylinder off the ring had stuck on the exhaust side. Replaced the ring and it started right up. Felt about the same compression wise good as it did when it was bad.
