atc250r swing arm on 250x?

hey guys. i have been throwing around the idea of a different swing arm and axle for my 1987 250x. before the 250r suspension got mentioned i was going to put a atc350x swing arm and axle on the quad. so. is the 250r swing arm worth the work? would a trx250r swing arm be better than the atc250r swing arm? and what would i have to do to put the R swing arm on? :confused:

same swinger to start with on 85/85 atc and 86/87 trx. It won't fit a 250x, way different frame design and motor configuration.
