Fuel Filter Upgrade

Looking for ideas on how you switch to inline. So far just seen removing filter out of swirl bowl and adding inline but leaving swirl bowl? open to all suggestions.

throw away the pancake, get an inline (not a glass inline though).

i just changed my filter for the first time, and was debating doing the inline switch. you leave the whole assembly in, just without the filter? and where do you put the inline? between the filter and tank? or between filter and pump?

Yes, just remove the pancake filter and leave the assy. I installed a glass filter just before the fuel pump.

so its just right there on the side? that would definitely make a filter change easier:eek2:
