I have a stage 2 hot cam but what is the best cam that would give me the most overall performance with my 440 bb kit?

Prolly a stage 3 hotcam if you don't want to have to get hardened rockers and everything.

Stage 3 def runs very well. If you have the 2 though, put it in, it will retain a little more low end power. I stepped down a tooth in the front to make up. My bike pulls hard from bottom to top now.

How is your top end with that setup cause if I keep my stock setup with 14 and 39 rear if I go with the stage 3 u think that would be good

Your top end is still going to be the same speed, you will just get there faster, with either cam you use. My top end I would say is around70-75 or so.. I am always thinking I have a extra gear, it isn't there, LOL. I geared mine a front tooth lower because with the 36 tooth rear finding a happy gear in the woods was hard. If I was duning I would have left it. I was either to high in one gear or to low in the next, no happy median.. I think you would be happy with the 2. I mean you have it, I would slap it in, as it is not a huge deal to do so. Again I can not comment how a 2 will actually run, but I can tell you I stay with modded 450's, banshee's, 700 rapys, kfx700's no problem, thats no BS'n. Before I dropped a tooth I could beat my buddies 07 450r that was jetted-full pipe, filter, would pass him every time mid way through my 2nd gear, just keep pulling. we swapped bikes and it was the same. Went from slow rolls on the street. Either one I think you will be happy with, for sure wakes the bike up..

I went with the stage 2 with my 440 because it was reccomended for my build with the research I did from the hotcams website and other sources, it has proven to be a good choice.

The stage 3 is supposed to be for stroker kits, I have heard of them running well in non strokers but 400exshop went back to a stage 2 after trying a stage 3 in his 440.

I reccomend the stage 2 but it might be worth trying the stage 3 if you got the time and money.

My setup was a weisco 440 kit with stage 2 cam, oversized kibblewhite valves with valve job, 450r carb and white bros rev box. I could hit 70mph in 4th gear with this setup on my 400ex drag quad and beat any 450 or 700 that wasnt bored and cam'd.
