I just put a Hinson clutch basket in our cr 85, was installing the motor back into the Cobra frame and happened to move the shifter, and NOTHING, it doesnt seem to be changing the gears, i rotated the sprocket as far as it would go both ways ?????

Any thoughts here ???????

the motor kicks over fine, and you can turn the axle with the chain hooked up, and the motor turns, just no action when moving the shifter ???????????????

Pull the clutch side back off and see what came undone in the shift linkage would be my guess.
