CL question

I get emails every day from cl even though I say I won’t respond to them on my ads.
If I open an email from someone on cl, it always reads the same.
They will put the first sentence of my ad and nothing else.

Example: my ad reads: I have a 2005 Honda 450 for sale. Please call 000-123-4567 sorry I will not respond to emails.

The emails I get will say: I have a 2005 Honda 450 for sale.

They don’t ask any questions and it is just the first sentence of my ad.

What’s up with all the stupid emails? Why do people do this? Are they trying to hack my pc? Most of them appear to be sent from an iphone.
Its not the automated email that is sent when you place an ad from cl.

they`re trying to get your e-mail adress. when you respond, they get it and they get paid per e-mail address they get

I got caught in that same kinda thing on facebook asking for my email and I would get a free case of Monster. Well instead of Monster I got a **** ton of spam emails. Thankfully they all went in my junk folder and I just reported every one of them as a phising scam and they started slowing down really quick.
