who else is getting "pop-ups"

WTF is going on here? I used to never get pop-ups on here and now,(last two days) I'm getting ads. Ben what did you do? Do I need to run pop-up blocker?:( I never had pop ups before and now i get them wether I log on at home or at work.

There are NO popups on this site, never have been and never will be. You guys are getting them from programs such as AOL AIM, Kazaa, etc. ;) Out of curiosity though - what are they for?

i get pop ups here n there, but i just don't worry about em. i wouldn't go and buy a pop up zappy thing just for a few pop ups...thats what the letter x is for at the top:p

I am getting alot of adds to. I think almost every single american knows what a 10x camera can do. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I got a couple when I was on here for the 10x camera but it might have been from a different site

I don't have AOL, AIM, or Kazaa. Not quite sure what the adds were for, other than one. Insurance. the others were pop-unders. I close them with out readin them. I just installed panicware lastnight after posting this and havent had a pop-up since. Our ISP is part of some spam prevention movment. we switched fron Verizon after getin an average of 7 porn spams a day. Come to find out they sell your email addy to any one willing to buy it.
