Where are some different places I can have this done? What kind of cost is it on a 4 stroke, Ive never really thought hard about it till now because I just rebuilt my 400 with an 11:1 wiseco and stg 2 HC and still wanting a little more without a new top end since mines fresh.

I think you are going to be spending a minimum of $300 - 400 on a p&p.
It is a long process, that has to be done with absolute precision, or you lack HP instead of gaining it.

I'm not sure if he is anymore.. I'm not even sure he'll do 400s..
A guy that is probably doing my 450 this winter is Dynamite in AZ, he seems to have very good prices and is a good guy on the boards, but I'm not sure he does 400s.. I'd go Sparks or CT for a big name 400 builder
I wish I could have snaggged a 12.25:1 pump gasser he (Venom) had for a while, they were supposed to be better than a shelf 13:1

You and me both. I sent him a pm on the org and he said he was sorry but he isnt in the piston biz anymore.
Real shame as it seems everyone has worked pistons for the R but they are not pump gas friendly. CP is about as close as you can get it seems to the 12:25:1.

Yah I'm thinking I'll run a 12:1 CP or a 12.8:1 JE.. 12.8:1 is getting close to making me uncomfortable though
If I want to keep mixing race gas 50/50 I could go to 14:1 :D:D

If I ever have one done, My choice 100% goes to CT racing.
They have been working on 400's since the late 90's... They KNOW what works!
EDIT: Or trinity.
Trinity also has awesome products.

Thats my issue. But with cam overlap I forsure could run a 13:1 easy-still makes me feel uneasy tho. Mixing or buying the gas is just an annoyance round here. Used to be able to get 100 octane at sunoco but no more.. I could run 100LL but meh Im not a real fan of paying absurd prices for gas. 93 is already 4.5/gal round here and I use 2 gallons every ride plus thegas to drive to my spot :(
Id also 2nd ct racing if rage cant do it, ct is the 400ex man.
