Im trying to buy an axle off a guy, hes not really sure what it is since he got it on a used bike.
Its in a trx450r right now

Its a durablue axle by the looks of the sprocket hub.
I just want to make sure its a 450r axle and someone didnt stick a 400ex or 250r axle in a 450r.

These weird sprocket hubs made me question what it was...

That looks eerily similar to my Durable Eliminator 2+2 axle on my 400. I have the stock 400 hubs on mine but the rest is identical. But it would be hard to tell if it's for a 400 or 450 unless the 450s is thicker or something. They don't have serial numbers or anything on them so it's a gamble. The hub looks like a Yamaha or an old 250R hub or something. I've never seen a Durablue hub so I can't offer any advice on that.

The hubs could be 1983/84 ATC 250R hubs. They were gold flat style (not the modern off-set style) have the same spline and wheel pattern and will fit the 450R axles
