So the other day i was out riding with my buddies and my quad lost spark, i figured out that the smaller gauge wire broke off of the coil. Needless to say i need a new coil. What are your guys preferences on a good coil?

Just buy a stock one. The inside of mine where it connects to the plug finally wore out and I replaced it with another stocker. Its never let me down otherwise.

I have one I will sell you cheap cheap.. I think it might be a NGK or something.. Idk.

I'd try to solder a new wire on first. If you have even a very small amount of wire left on the coil. It should be more than enough to put it back together. Use a longer wire, and then tape a section of it to the coil itself so in the future it won't pull out of the coil.

If you use flux core solder, you won't have to heat the wires up real hot for the solder to stick.
