Going to buy a new pipe for my 300ex

Im thinking about buying a new pipe for my 300ex what choice do think will work good for me, track,trail,jumping and just play racing? here are teh choices
1. Sparks X-4
2. Sparks X-5
3. Sparks X-6
4. Hetrick
5. Duncan Fat Boy 4
6. White Bros E-Series Pro Meg

does lrd make a 300ex pipe? if anyone has pics of these pipes on there 300 please let me see them thanks

i considered all of those bt im going with an hmf with my wb header...i was gonna get hetricks but i already have the wb header sct

i ran a FMF Mega Max 2, w/ a 152 main and a 42 pilot jet, on my old 300ex. It seemed to run pretty good, but my opinion is that white bros makes better pipes!

i agree i have a fmf on my 250x right now but i love the white bros e series on my warrior. the white bros had more of a power increase

well i have a modded fmf powercore iv2 pipe and hi-flow header right now ,removed spark arrestor, 3-4" cut off more bottom adn mid range power, sounds good but i want a true racing pipe down to 2 choices now hetrick or sparks x-5

Hetrick makes great pipes from what i am told. Do not get the X-5, it is designed for an engine with more displacement than u have, 345cc's to like 375cc's. Get the X-4 if you are gunna get a sparks, it is designed for motors from 250cc's to 345cc's. Getting a pipe that is meant for larger displacement than you have will actually make you lose horsepower. I also highly recommend the WB e-series, i have one on my 400 and it produces really good power all the way through.:macho

My freind just put a white brothers R4 (i think thats what it is) sounds good and it really opened it up. But it was a 400ex.

Yea I originally wanted the R4 but go parts direct sent me an e-series by mistake, so i kept it.:rolleyes:

I have a question.. What would a white brothers header do with a stock silencer on a 300ex ?? I was told the head pipe is what restricts the 300ex. Whats your thoughts ??

I would go for the full system because the silencer is restrictive too, especially with the spark arrestor in.

Had a e-series went to sparks X-4 will never buy another pipe other than sparks. I love the sound of the X-4 and more power than e-series. The e-series sounded tinny to me and the X-4 sounds like I have a 700cc motor.

If ur gonna spend the time and effort of moding ur 4 wheeler, do it right. Half *****ed jobs only need redoing in the future. Go with the full system, if you buy a header w/o a pipe ur wasting ur time. Sure, it may sound different, but power is what we are all looking for when moding our bikes.

True that sista, LOL. In the future you will only want to replace it for something to make more power so do it right the first time an ya wont be puttin out more money later.;)
