when did you get here man? have you heard of the tuttle creek trails or randolph orv park yet? randolph is a bit of a ways past manhattan going out i believe its 24, anybody you run into on post with a lifted jeep or truck they take out regularly should be able to help you get there. as far as i know other then running into someone with property your gonna be hard pressed to find anywhere else to ride altough there is a motocross track that i hear allows quads in park city.

I just moved up to manhattan to start school in august and have checked out tuttle creek and it is not to shabby. I'm not much of a trail rider but I enjoyed it there are some hill climbs that you would have to shove your head in your arse before trying like 85-90% with a giant root 4-8inches setting at the top waiting for you. Theres also some trails that have rock you will need to avoid but it is very fun. Theres some mx tracks down south thought around wichita, and hutchinson.

I PCS'ed to Riley from Leonard Wood, so I've been here a few weeks. Still trying to figure out the area, but plan on checking out tuttle creek once before it gets to horribly cold outside.

whats up guys, i live right out side of Manhattan. I dont know if you have checked out Marion's mx track, I was there a few weeks ago the track is real technical and brutal, its a blast im looking to going back one of these days. Park Citys track is real high speed. Salina's track is mainly for dirt bikes last time I was there with quads, they had 7 wrecks with 2 people going to the hospital and one of those guys was tied for 1st in B class.

I'm not to big on marions track it seems like a death trap. Salina's track is very sketchy but its one of the only sand tracks around here minus the track in maize. Jeeps is an awesome place to ride, however the people that run it are a complete joke. We have our series their and they do every thing they can to squeeze any money out of us.

Bigred- do you know who owns the small track south of manhattan? Where you at the race in salina last weekend?

Big Red Hammer

Big Red Hammer
09-28-2012, 10:31 AM
I don't know if there's one there or not but the one in Randolph is a friend of mines private track he had it on craigslist not too long ago for people to come out and ride. its a moto/super cross track.

The track South of Manhattan, out by the landfill, I believe is owned by the owner of Audio Junction in JC. I've been wanting to ride there since it is close and easy to get to. I don't think they will allow quads, but I haven't talked to him personally. They have a dirt bike "club" that rides there.

I'd love to come ride sometime! We'll be going down to Little Sahara in April 11-14th.

What is the track in Randolph? The only riding area I know of in Randolph is the ORV and its more of a rock crawling area, pretty cool for jeeps and UTV's.

Its a sand track I have friends that race mx bikes I've asked to ride but got mixed feelings about a quad taring up their track ..

the track in Randolph is privately owned, if your wanting to ride out there call mac delrosso at 785 410 8294, if he asks tell him dustin told you about it.

I had no idea there was a track in Randolph, very cool. I went out to the track just south of Manhattan, there was a dirt bike doing some laps. I didn't think he was open to quads being out there.

Is the owner of the track in Randolph a member here?

Big Red Hammer
01-22-2013, 08:32 PM

Race in inman tomorrow

sexysilverado45
04-13-2013, 09:32 PM
Yes sir I'm glad you said something, and I wish I would have said something sooner. If anybody on this forum is bored tomorrow or is looking for something to do. KAMS first race is tomorrow sign it @ 8, practice @ 9, race @ 10am the good thing is the race should be over by 2 or 3 so its not a long time to be at the track. Should have a good turn out it looks like we have quite a few riders taking interest in the series this year and we have had a lot of people say they would be making the trek to inman.

Big Red Hammer
04-13-2013, 09:35 PM
