View Full Version : Simple/cheap cooling mod

I will keep this updated until I am done with many pictures. This whole set up can be done for around $80. Or for like $32 depending on if you use the fan or not.
What you will need......
- spal 5.5" Puller fan
-transmission oil cooler(got mine at the local auto zone)
-wire
-toggle switch
-some scrap pieces of steel
-some metal with some kind of holes in it
-a welder
-grinder
-about an hour and a half of your time
-and some touch up paint.

I started tonight and will probably finish Tmoro. I've done a lot of research and this should work for anyone trail riding,duning, or racing. It should cool your engine a ton.

IT WON'T LET ME POST PICS WITH MY PHONE OR I WOULD!!!!! TELL ME HOW TO. IT SAYS THEY CAN'T BE POSTED BECAUSE THE MAXIMUM SIZE OR SOMETING IS LIKE 20000000 BYTES?

Kind of, but I install a bigger fan onto a bigger cooler I am putting on in a different spot.

upload them to your pc, then resize them using ms paint?

Sounds like my thread with the same parts and all. Photobucket works great for pictures.
