Got my new esr clutch cover in the mail saturday. This thing looks great! Im super pleased!!! The cover looks great first of all. I kinda like the sandy appearence to it. But thats not all that came with the cover
Along with the clutch cover i got a FREE new complete mechanical seal! - 45 dollars new on ebay from bdt.
FREE ESR billet Water pupp cover! 40 bucks from esr.
ALL new allen head bolts for the whole cover, waterpump cover, quick change clutch cover and oil level check. idk 10 dollar value? FREE.
New billet spacer that goes on kick start shaft. Cant remember but I thought 86's needed this but 88-89's didnt? Anyway, Free.
And 4 new oem honda alignment pins, pry 5 bucks from honda.

And it was only 199. 100 dollars worth of free parts with the cover. Heres a picture. Ill let you know how it fits when I install it
One thing I noticed is it says TRX esr on the quick change cover instead of TRX r. They must be doin a couple different ones. I really wanna thank ESR for doing all thes new cool parts!

:D :D :D

I got one was ok for 2 months the bearing went. new bearing went again in 2 month later. sold the cover with the esr cylinder that leaked-seized. idk-these are low cost-bad quality.

Im guessing you had issues with the alignment pins not being installed or bent, and/or your counter balencer bearing being out. But im not looking to start a argueing match here.

Mine was bad, the holes did not lin line with case holes, tight fit. Took the bearing out 2 times. Sold it for $90http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=492490

on mine, the hole for the kick start shaft was slightly too small, the kicker fit, but didn't ratchet back. I had to use a brake cylinder hone to open it up some.

Got mine bolted up! fit perfect, bolted up easily, and it looks great. Waterpump lined up perfect and the kick starter ratchets back. Now to go get it dirty:devil:

Looks good. The cases are getting closer to being done too in a matching finish. The finish is not the best starting point for the polish it up buyer but I like it.

Send it back to ESR. Dont try to screw someone else out of 100 bucks, if it eats waterpump bearings, then there is a problem with it.
