since i've gotten out of quad racing after breaking my neck in 2010. i started racing cars. i race in spec miata. its an awesome class to race in with entries from 30-50 cars a weekend. in the two years of racing ive done 44 races and gotten 10 wins, and a bunch of podiums. of course with any type of racing, there are mechanical failures. mine happened at the worst possible time. part of the sub frame mount in the front that was attached to the steering rack snapped mid turn causing me to make a hard left hand turn, going around 95 mph. took a very hard hit, but the safety in this cars are amazing. was able to walk out and race the next day in a rental. just thought i'd share this video, and see what your guys opinions are about it. enjoy.

holy **** man!

my uncle races SM's, id love to get into it. Do you need an scca license to start in SM's at limerock?

For what i've got into my seven I could pay for two SM's and two years of track abuse!

yeah you need your scca licence to race. and you cant take the turn flat, ive tried ha, you need just a little lift, then back to full power. and ive never done the chicane in a race, but i have in a test day before.
