fI realize this is not the 300 section, but i'm sure many of us started on this classic so looking for thoughts here.

I have a 1996 300ex, 99% original with a fmf powercore and K&N. First quad i rode and man i can remember loving that little thing.

Guess that's why i kinda got a fire under my *** to just go all out on it to see what it's cabable of. Looking at the Sparks kit off and on here for the last 2 weeks or so. Includes a 14:1, their full on race X-4 cam and all other top end components.

Anyone used to ride a blown out 330? I dont expect it to be near what i have currently, but as i said i loved this thing!

What kind of horsepower and speed caould i get out of it? I know it's alot of cash and could probably buy 4 300's for what i'm willing to put into this one, but i sure would like to have a "sleeper" and then embarrass some 400 or posibly novice 450 riders.

I assume heat will be a huge issue with this little thing so i would be looking into adding or making an oil cooler. Can anyone remember back that far and share some thoughts/opinions on how these used to run? Thanks.

Kyle's 300 motor was done by Geno (VPS) in Latrobe...sh*t your right there. I could get a hold of him today and see if he wants to do a 300 motor.... he picks his work and you have to be recomended. Kyle's 300 motor was bad ***....it will ran with the Rage and Janssen motors. And yes Kyle beat 400's and 450's with it....lol

I have a 350x motor for sale that has a mild build. It is in a 300ex chassis now. My cousin built this thing in the late 90's for a buddy of his. He built it just like he did his 4strk proam bikes then. The motor should bolt right up. Let me know if you are interested in it. My number is 9013265165 I can text you some pictures of it.
